It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Bob Ableman, a dedicated friend and leader of The Swiss Colony. Over his 25-year tenure, Bob played an essential role in the company's success. We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Janet, his family, and all those whose lives he touched over many years.

Colony Brands turned year-end staffing challenges into a major success through their unique Associate Donation program. By filling warehouse shifts, employees helped the company meet peak demand while raising nearly 300,000 dollars for 39 charitable organizations in southwest Wisconsin. This initiative highlights a strong company culture rooted in supporting local communities during difficult times.

The Colony Brands Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for the 2021 academic year. This opportunity is available specifically to high school seniors who are children of current company employees or student employees. Colony Brands University recently celebrated its 25th annual graduation with a special virtual event. Recognizing nearly 150 employees for their hard work and dedication, the ceremony marked a milestone of over 2,300 degrees awarded since the program began. We congratulate all our graduates and encourage everyone to pursue future learning opportunities within the company.

We honor the life and legacy of Arthur Gregory Bartsch, who passed away on October 31st. A brilliant food scientist, former Vice President at The Swiss Colony, and community leader in Monroe, Wisconsin, Art lived a life defined by resilience and innovation. His contributions to both industry and his local community will be deeply missed.

By implementing creative drive-thru solutions, we successfully provided free flu vaccinations to 885 employees and spouses across seven locations. Partnering with the Monroe Clinic allowed us to prioritize health and safety during the pandemic, ensuring our team remains protected while reducing the overall burden on the healthcare system during this challenging flu season.
