Colony Brands Team Members Judge Annual AMA competition
Recently, UW-Whitewater hosted the 16th Annual AMA Regional Conference. Colony Brands was thrilled to once again sponsor the conference’s Marketing Strategy competition and award prize money to the top performing teams. Becky Henke, Alycia Valentine, and Kevin Geib attended as judges, reviewing the written submissions and live presentations of ten finalists who were tasked with developing a mini marketing plan for the recently acquired Carol Wright brand.
The competition is judged “blind”, meaning that any information indicating which school a team represents is concealed from the judges. The four runner-up teams represented Michigan Tech University, HAN (Netherlands), University of Florida, and UW-Milwaukee. This year’s winning team, from UW-Whitewater, was the team of Kenzie Oakes, Brielle Bird, Gracie Weston, and Courtney Haakenson.
