COLONY BRANDS, INC. ADDS 12 BRANDS TO ITS PORTFOLIO WITH PURCHASE OF ASSETS OF AMERIMARK INTERACTIVE, LLC AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES 

Colony Brands, Inc., one of America’s oldest, largest, and most successful omni-channel direct marketing companies, recently expanded its portfolio of catalog brands with the purchase of certain assets of AmeriMark Interactive, LLC.  The acquisition of twelve print and e-commerce retail brands was completed on June 16, 2023.

Formerly The Swiss Colony, the Monroe, Wisconsin based Colony Brands was founded in 1926.  Nearly 100 years later, the company remains privately held by the family of founder Ray Kubly.   Their family of brands is a combination of home-grown and acquired titles, including the long-standing holiday food gift brand The Swiss Colony, as well as Seventh Avenue, Montgomery Ward, Monroe & Main, Ginny’s, Midnight Velvet, Ashro, Country Door, The Tender Filet, and The Wisconsin Cheeseman.  Prior to AmeriMark, the company’s most recent acquisitions were Ashro (2006), Montgomery Ward (2008), and The Wisconsin Cheeseman (2011).

The catalog brands acquired through the recent purchase include Carol Wright Gifts, Dr. Leonard’s, Harriet Carter, Essentials by Anthony Richards, Healthy Living, FeelGoodStore.com, Anthony Richards, Beauty Boutique, Complements, Time for Me, and certain assets relating to the Windsor Collection and Fresh Finds brands.

Colony Brands is a significant employer in the Midwest with over 1,000 full-time employees and a large seasonal workforce.
